How long have you been trading and how did you start?

I’ve been trading for four years. My interest came from wanting to find new ways of generating income and to better understand the global economy.

What was the most valuable lesson you learnt while trading?

The most valuable lesson I learnt is that discipline is essential. It helps you stick to a plan, stay calm under pressure, and avoid impulsive decisions.

What qualities or habits do you think are essential for a trader?

In my view, continuous learning, discipline, and risk management are key. The market is always changing, so you need to keep learning and improving. Discipline allows you to execute strategies without letting emotions take over. While effective risk management ensures long-term success.

Describe your best trade so far: which instrument, strategy and profit did you make?

My best trade was during the Tickmill Championship with the XAU/USD. Using the 4-hour chart and classical support and resistance analysis, I identified a strong zone and placed a trade that brought a profit of about USD 30,000.
